Overview

In partnership with regional teams and cross‑functional partners worldwide, Global Acceptance Merchant Solutions expands merchant acceptance. The Vice President, Transit Acceptance Product Management builds Mastercard’s innovative product portfolio for transit partners, embedding Mastercard payment solutions within the transit ecosystem and securing the role of Mastercard’s card network in public transit and car commerce.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute Mastercard’s product strategy in the transit space, prioritizing customer and partner needs and developing novel solutions that strengthen Mastercard’s position in private and public transit segments.
• Lead and inspire a high‑performing team of product managers to meet Transit Acceptance objectives.
• Provide transit ecosystem subject‑matter expertise, identifying product opportunities and informing development priorities.
• Establish strong connectivity with internal peers, product teams, business owners, regional market‑facing teams, and customers worldwide to identify ecosystem needs.
• Develop new innovative transit solutions that can scale and secure Mastercard’s role in the transit ecosystem.
• Oversee modernization of network rules to support critical transit use cases.
• Deliver projects in partnership with Franchise to ensure network rules meet evolving needs of stakeholders (customers, channel partners, transit authorities, OEMs) in the mobility space.
• Own and evolve transit acceptance priorities and project pipeline, ensuring delivery of relevant acceptance solutions and GTM assets that commercial teams use to create value and drive influence with transit vertical customers and partners.
• Maintain partnerships with senior regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with global and regional transit product priorities.
