Role Overview:

We are seeking a Virtual Desktop Engineer (Citrix) to join in one of the largest insurance groups in the world, present in 64 countries. Based in Lisbon (Hybrid).

This professional will integrate an international Virtual Workplace team consisting out of 50+ virtual desktop experts managing 20+ Citrix farms for 30. 000+ users.

What you will do:

• Design , deploy , manage and support virtual desktop environments using technologies like Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly Xen
  App/Xen
  Desktop) , Citrix Workspace , and related infrastructure components.
• Install , configure, and maintain Citrix products like Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Director, Store
  Front, Citrix Workspace Environ-ment Management (WEM), and Citrix Gateway (formerly Net
  Scaler).
• Configure and manage Machine Creation Services (MCS) or Provi-sioning Services (PVS).
• Manage virtual desktop and application delivery through Citrix Studio and Director.
• Apply updates and patches to Citrix infrastructure components.

What you are like:

• Experience designing and deploying VDI environments using Citrix and hypervisors like: VMware v
  Sphere; Microsoft Hyper-V; Citrix Hypervisor (Xen
  Server).
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 .
• Experience with Active Directory: OU structures, group policies, login scripts.
• Experience in Citrix products expertise that supplement Xen
  App and Xen
  Desktop.
• Fluency in English;
• Excellent communication and
  - functional collaboration skills.
