We are looking for Virtualization Administrator (VMware, Power
Shell, DRP) to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, maintain, and optimize virtualization solutions using VMware, Xen
  Server, or KVM.
• Automate operational tasks with Power
  Shell (mandatory), Python, or Bash.
• Manage virtual networks, compute, and storage resources across enterprise environments.
• Monitor systems, resolve incidents and service requests (ticket-based), and ensure high availability.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing (DRP), patching, upgrades, and hardening activities (CIS benchmarks).
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with network, Wintel, and cybersecurity teams to align on system integrity and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Virtualization:
  
  Proficient with VMware, Xen
  Server, and/or KVM.
• Scripting:
  
  Power
  Shell (required), plus experience with Python or Bash.
• Monitoring:
  
  Familiarity with Solar
  Winds.
• Networking:
  
  Good knowledge of DNS, DHCP, load balancers, VPN, and SSL.
• Systems:
  
  Experience managing Windows Server environments.
• Security:
  
  Knowledge of hardening practices (CIS) and automation tools.
• Frameworks:
  
  Understanding of ITIL practices (certification is a plus).
• Cloud:
  
  Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.

Skills and Experience:

• Hands-on experience in managing critical virtualized environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train or support users.
• Capable of working closely with internal and external stakeholders in
  - functional teams.
• English:
  
  B2–C1 level (mandatory).
