1. Needs

Active Space Technologies is seeking a candidate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control experience to perform the role of Process Quality Assurance (QA/QC) in aerospace development projects.

2. Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assisting in maintenance of the company management system compliant with AS9100, ECSS (ESA standards – Space area) and other standards to which the company subscribes and promote the company visions and values.
2. Supporting Document & Configuration Control;
3. Preparing & Controlling Incoming and Outgoing Inspections;
4. Validating Certificates and Traceability;
5. Controlling Equipment and Tools in use during the manufacturing;
6. Assurance of Workplace and Workmanship Standards;
7. Assurance of QA requirements for Metrology and calibration;
8. Assurance of QA requirements for Handling, Storage, and preservation;
9. Assurance of QA requirements for MAIT:
1. Control Processes;
2. Materials and parts control;
3. Equipment control;
4. Inspections;

3. Minimum Requirements:

3. 1 Academic Qualification

Technician position (12th grade level education) or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Disciplines: Quality, Industrial, Mechanical) (is a plus);

3. 2 Key Technical Experience

Requirements:

• Manufacturing engineering knowledge (processes, tools, methods, …);
• Quality Management System knowledge (processes and procedures);
• Computer skills in user's perspective and operating systems;
• Great communication and collaboration skills;
• Organizational skills and workload prioritizing;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently and proactivity;
• Detail oriented;
• Critical thinking and
  - solving mentality;

Nice to have (added value):

• Knowledge of the ECSS Standards (ESA standards – Space area);
• Knowledge of the AS9100 standard;

3. 3 Practical Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industries such as automotive, aeronautics, aerospace;
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control (or related) experience;
• Product Assurance experience (Space) (is a big plus);
• Other aerospace engineers seeking a QA career will be considered.

3. 4 Languages

• Good verbal and written communication skills (English) (is a plus);
