Warehouse Operative – Rayner

We are expanding our Warehouse team in our Porto office in Portugal and are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join us on a fixed‑term contract (full time) until the end of June 2026. The purpose of the role is to contribute to a consistent and efficient finished goods operation, maintaining quality of picking, shipping, stock maintenance and supporting the productivity of the team. You will help drive continuous improvement in people, process and cost efficiency of the lens store.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and shipping customer orders seamlessly and promptly within agreed time frames.
• Inbounding goods into the company ERP system.
• Organising and keeping all storage areas safe, secure, clean and tidy.
• Conducting stock checks including all serial numbers.
• Ensuring goods inwards from production, external suppliers and inventory transfers between sites are processed and stored appropriately and efficiently.
• Scheduling and monitoring delivery/courier services.
• Contributing towards the improvement of processes and operating practices on the site.
• Ensuring all health and safety and quality procedures are always followed.

Experience & Skills

• Experience working in a target‑driven environment with the ability to work towards achieving objectives against tight deadlines.
• PC literate and familiar with Word and spreadsheet packages.
• Fluency in Portuguese.

Desirable

• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and experience in an ISO 9001 environment.
• Background working in a manufacturing or process‑driven environment.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Fluency in English.
