Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and improvement of the Investment Risk Framework and the Execution Services Providers Framework within the IM Products & Services platform.
• Report to the Team Leader. Trainee has intermediate knowledge of financial markets and products, investment processes and services offered by the wealth management industry, with understanding of investment policies and risk controlling.
• Investment Risk Framework
  • Run the Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) and Advisory Investment Risk reporting processes
  • Prepare the DPM and Advisory Investment Risk Committees
  • Produce risk metrics for clients’ portfolios – Va
    R, stress tests, tracking error
  • Promote a risk culture by improving the control framework and respecting investment policies and client conduct
  • Review documentation to ensure adequate feeding on internal systems (client and instrument level)
  • Launch Mi
    FID II related controls under the Investment Risk framework
• Execution Services Providers Framework
  • Manage relations with brokers (open/close relationships)
  • Analyze brokerage and trading data to run controls on trading desk activity
  • Prepare the Execution Services Providers Committee to analyze brokers and trading activity

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or Mathematics
• Knowledge of financial markets and products (equities, bonds, funds, derivatives, private equity)
• Programming skills: SQL, Power
  BI, Python, VBA
• Microsoft Office: Excel, Power
  Point, Access
• Fluency in English; strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and independently
• Ability to adapt to fast pace and multicultural environment
• Analytical mindset, rigor, accuracy, dynamism, flexibility and autonomy
• Ability to synthesize, simplify and challenge the status quo
