Wealth Management Markets Operations Officer

About The Job

The Officer will share their time among one of the three teams: Markets Backoffice (MBO), Cash Transfers (CT) and Funds Execution (FE):

• The Markets Back Office team is responsible for booking, matching and settlement of Money Markets, Forex and OTC Derivatives operations.
• The Cash Transfers team handles the processing of cash transfer operations per client instructions.
• The Funds Execution team ensures execution of all orders on investment funds within the Wealth Management business line.

Your Main Activities

• Assist MBO team in booking Forex and Money Market operations and manage confirmations.
• Execute daily reconciliations for the MBO team.
• Process client cash instructions (outgoing, manual, incoming) for the CT team.
• Handle standing orders, direct debits and prepaid cards for the CT team.
• Support FE team in executing investment fund orders with custodians/transfer agents, monitor executed and pending orders, contract notes and reminder to counterparties.
• Control and enrich fund values in the referential database for FE team and respond to internal customer requests.
• Implement internal procedures and directives concerning controls for the respective team’s activity.
• Maintain quality of operations respecting deadlines and communicate effectively with Front Office, Relationship Managers and other daily workflow teams.

Profile and Skills to Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations.
• Fluency in English.
• Team collaboration ability.
• Attention to detail and rigor.
• Client-focused mindset.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical ability.
• Proactivity.
