ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:

To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Center based in Porto with the aim to provide administrative and financial support to the European subsidiaries. In this context, we are seeking for a Web Developer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Website Maintenance & Support: Ensure the smooth operation of the company's web platforms, primarily built on Word
  Press. Manage incidents, troubleshoot issues, and maintain technical stability.
• Functional Evolutions: Develop and implement new features as requested by the business teams, ensuring high performance and code quality.
• Analysis & Optimization: Continuously assess the existing codebase and architecture to optimize performance, security, and maintainability.
• Technical Architecture & Best Practices: Contribute to the definition and implementation of web architecture principles, ensuring scalability and robustness.
• Provider Management & Technical Oversight: Collaborate with and challenge external development teams to ensure
  - quality operations and code delivery.
• Website Redesign Project: Actively participate in the rebuild of the group's websites, taking part in both development and technical project management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in IT Minimum (or equivalent) - Master's degree is a plus;
• Strong expertise in web development with PHP, HTML, CSS, and Java
  Script;
• Proficiency in Word
  Press (custom theme and plugin development, performance optimization, security best practices) is highly appreciated;
• Solid understanding of
  - end and
  - end development best practices;
• Knowledge of web architecture and optimization techniques;
• Experience with version control systems (e. g. , Git);
• Familiarity with API development and integration is a plus;
• Fluency in English.
