Overview

A welding company in Lisbon is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using various welding techniques to join metal parts together to create structures and products.

Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
2. Use various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
3. Operate welding equipment safely and effectively.
4. Inspect materials and structures for defects and ensure quality control.
5. Perform maintenance on welding equipment as needed.
6. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times.
7. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget constraints.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in welding or completion of a vocational training program in welding.
3. Proven ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
4. Familiarity with different types of welding equipment and techniques.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
6. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
7. Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
8. Valid work permit or Portuguese citizenship preferred.

Salary:

The salary for this position is $900 per month.

Location:

This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
