WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Own the technical direction for our Word
Press platform and lead the development and implementation of new features in collaboration with internal and external partners;
- Contribute to and guide the evolution of platform architecture and
- end infrastructure;
- Enforce coding best practices and ensure performance, security, and scalability of our Word
Press implementation;
- Collaborate with designers,
- end engineers, and product managers to plan and execute development work;
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal engineers to support their growth in Word
Press development;
- Lead code reviews, documentation efforts, and continuous improvement processes.

MUST HAVES

- 5+ years of commercial experience;
- Deep understanding of Word
Press and PHP fundamentals, with a strong portfolio of complex or
- scale projects;
- Experience designing scalable
- end systems and implementing custom plugins and themes;
- Proven ability to lead and influence technical decisions across teams or organizations;
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and familiarity with Graph
QL APIs;
- Experience with headless or decoupled Word
Press implementations;
- Familiarity with modern Java
Script (e. g. , ESNext, JSX) and experience building custom Gutenberg blocks using block. json and React;
- Prior experience supporting
- traffic enterprise websites;
- Skilled in debugging, performance optimization, and local development workflows;
- Experience working with testing tools in Word
Press, such as phpunit;
- Proficient in version control tools such as Git/Git
Hub;
- Upper-Intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

- Experience with Word
Press VIP hosting infrastructure;
- Experience working with Word
Press
- sites;
- Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows;
- Exposure to AWS cloud services and modern infrastructure tools;
- Previous experience in a tech lead or staff engineer role;
- Contributions to the Word
Press community (open source, events, etc. );
- Experience working in digital media or publishing environments;
- Familiarity with
- end frameworks like React, Next. js, and Type
Script.
