Right now, we are looking for a Systems Engineer to integrate our internal team, based in Lisbon or Porto.
Your responsibilities include:
Analysis and Remediation
- Implement containment measures to minimize the impact of the incident;
- Apply IP/malware blocking rules when necessary;
- Suggest or implement patches and updates to correct exploited vulnerabilities;
- Review, develop and implement security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information;
- Coordinate with IT and security teams to contain the incident quickly;
Documentation and Continuous Improvement
- Record details of the incident, actions taken and lessons learned;
- Contribute to the improvement of incident response plans;
- Develop automations and processes to increase incident response efficiency;
- Participate in training and security incident simulations;
- Define system security requirements and prepare reports on your results;
Communication and Coordination
- Work together with security analysts, system administrators and other stakeholders;
- Report critical incidents to appropriate teams, including leadership and affected areas;
- Collaborate on compliance times to ensure agreed requirements are executed.
You must have:
- 3+ years of experience in System administration;
- Experience in Microsoft Security: Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Identity, DLP solutions;
- Experience in managing user access, policies, compliance settings, and security configurations;
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving MS365-related technical issues efficiently;
- Implement and enforce security policies, MFA, DLP, and conditional access settings in MS365;
- Ensure adherence to GDPR, ISO, and
- specific compliance standards; - Optimize licensing, usage, and
- effectiveness of MS365 tools; - Technical knowledge to ensure safe, effective, and efficient changes to the network and systems infrastructure;
- Experience in solving complex problems and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously;
- Strong analysis, investigation and troubleshooting skills;
- Good written and spoken English language;
- Awareness of the latest cyber threats;
- Knowledge of security systems including
- virus applications, content filtering, firewalls, authentication systems and intrusion detection and notification systems; - Knowledge of security protocols and principles;
- Critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems.

Drive, Teams, Entra AD, Intune).
