We’re looking for a Zscaler DLP Specialist
Role Overview
As a Zscaler DLP (data loss prevention) specialist, you will leverage your deep understanding of Zscaler’s data protection (including DLP) capabilities to help us develop, implement, and optimize our data loss prevention strategies. You will work closely with
- functional teams to design and deliver robust security solutions that prevent data breaches, maintain compliance, and safeguard sensitive information across cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Zscaler data protection capabilities in
collaboration with our infrastructure partner to ensure data security.
● Maintain our current Zscaler data protection ecosystem to make sure it suits our organization and DLP strategy.
● Act as a subject matter expert for Zscaler data protection technology and provide guidance on best practices.
● Troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues related to data protection functionalities within
Zscaler.
● Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and clients to elevate DLP security practices.
● Stay

- date on the latest trends and developments in data security, DLP technology, and Zscaler products.
Required Skills and Qualifications
● In-depth knowledge of Zscaler solutions, with a strong focus on data protection capabilities.
● Proven experience in deploying and managing data loss prevention technologies.
● Strong understanding of cloud security, data protection frameworks, and regulatory compliance
requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc. ).
● Expertise in optimizing Zscaler DLP policies and features.
● Solid background in network security and
- based security solutions.
● Strong analytical and
- solving skills.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in English.
● Zscaler Certified Specialist or similar certifications are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
● Hands-on experience with the Zscaler data protection module.
● Experience working in
- cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud).
● Familiarity with SIEM, SOC, and incident response processes.
● Excellent understanding of data loss prevention, data security and privacy principles and regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc. ).
● Strong analytical and
- solving skills.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in English.
